Dr.
Callahan is the Medical Director at the Women’s Sports Medicine Center
at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and is an Assistant Professor of
Medicine at Cornell University Medical Center. She attended the East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina and completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in Sports Medicine at the San Jose Medical Center, Stamford University School of Medicine. Dr. Callahan is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine. |
| She is the Health Advisor to the
Women’s Sports & Fitness Magazine, Editorial Board of the Journal of Women’s
Health, and is a
member of the Advisory Board for the Women’s Health Advisor and the
Food & Fitness Advisor. Dr. Callahan has made numerous appearances
on a variety of network and cable television shows and is the author of
numerous professional publication on women, sports, and health. She has held Sports Medicine positions with the Women’s World Cup Soccer, Avon Running 10K Global Championship, and the US National Rowing Team. Back to Our Advisors |
