Dr.
Rache M. Simmons is the Assistant Director of the Strang-Cornell Breast
Center, and the Director of The New York Hospital-Cornell Breast Center.
She is Assistant Professor of Surgery at The New York Hospital-Cornell
Medical Center. Dr. Simmons is board certified in surgery.
She is a member of The American College of Surgeons, The American Society of Breast Disease, The Association for Academic Surgeons, The Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group, and The Association of Women Surgeons. Dr. Simmons is a current board member and is the President-Elect of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. |
| Although
her specialty is in the surgical treatment of breast cancer, Dr. Simmons’
practice includes patients who do not have breast cancer and wish to be
followed for routine breast examinations and mammography. She is the author of numerous scientific publications and presentations. Dr. Simmons also serves as Medical Consultant to Woman’s World Magazine, Time Life Video, NY Daily News, Good Housekeeping, Bazaar and Glamour Magazine, along with ABC and CBS Evening News.
